Though most of its members got their start in the 1960s, the Traveling Wilburys is the kind of supergroup that could only have been formed in the late-’80s, a time when baby-boomer nostalgia was rampant, and when major labels were still interested in giving deals to musicians in their forties and fifties.
In 1988, George Harrison recorded a B-side with Jeff Lynne, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty and Roy Orbison. When Warner Bros. heard “Handle With Care,” they decided the tossed-off number was decidedly A-side material, and encouraged Harrison and Co. to come up with an albums’ worth of material. -Rolling Stone

It’s Mid-August, everyone is back to school!! It’s a very confusing feeling to start a new semester for me because i’m happy to get another semester over with but sad that summer has left me once again. I gotta say though that i love the 1st say of school because of what people dare to wear just to stand out. It’s really funny to me cause some people only come like that the first week of school after that its like they disapear. So this is a tip for a first day of school waredrobe YES! Try to go comfortable if you leave where the sun is still shing by this time, you could wear so jeans either skinny ripped with a nice off the shoulder shirt or a nice colorful flared tank top. You put some sandals and you wear a nice purse! I think that the first day your bag is what stands out! So, since this is my first day of school..i have to have my big purse with my books! Still STYLISH & ready for school! Just a piece of what i’m thinking for this day.
